Help Support Our Mission Financially
The City Mission of Findlay is the only organization in Hancock County offering shelter, advocacy, life recovery programs, and meals to homeless men, women, and children in need. In addition, the Mission offers community meals to individuals and families suffering from food insecurity 365 days a year. All services are offered at no cost to those who need them.
Because of you, we have been able to continue to provide these crucial services to a vulnerable population. Thank you for helping us support those we serve for more than 90 years.
In 2023 alone, the City Mission provided 140,000 meals and 25,000 nights of lodging, 130 successful move-outs, 6,500 transports, 12,000 volunteer hours, and more than 50 families and 74 children helped.
With your help, we can continue to ensure that every man, woman, and child is shown the love of Christ through our compassionate services and is given hope for a better tomorrow.
Meijer Simply Give Program
During each Simply Give campaign, customers are encouraged to purchase a $10 Simply Give donation card upon checkout. Once purchased, the donation is converted into a Meijer Food-Only Gift Card and donated directly to the City Mission of Findlay.
Shop + Give Back At Kroger
This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. All you need to do is search “City Mission of Findlay” to link your Kroger card to community rewards.

Darrel The Barrel
Fill the Barrel
We are on a mission to feed the homeless and we need your help! Fill up Darrel the Food Barrel with non-perishable food and other items at your nearest location.
We will deliver Darrel the Food Barrel to your organization or church and collect the food from him when he is full. It’s a great way to get involved and make a difference through donating physical items to City Mission of Findlay.
