The City Mission provides meals for its residents and a nightly meal for the community at 4:30 pm.
Food boxes are available every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 pm for local people in the community who are in need of emergency food assistance. Individuals or families may receive two boxes per month of non-perishable foods and frozen meats. Food box size is based on the size of the family. Identification and proof of rent are required in order to receive a food box. A personal hygiene packet is also available. This process takes about 45 minutes. Those desiring food boxes are welcome to the evening meal while they are waiting for their food box.
Monday-Friday people coming to the 4:30pm meal are able to enter the City Mission fresh produce pantry. Here community guests can “shop” for produce, breads and other foods to take home.
